Our target market includes the residents and businesses within our distribution area, as well as visitors to the Midlands, which is a major tourism destination in South Africa. Because the title reads “The Meander Chronicle”, visitors often pick the paper up along with the very popular Midlands Meander brochure. The paper therefore travels with the visitors, increasing its circulation further afield. Accommodation, Restaurant and Service Guides ensure a quick and easy reference source for locals and visitors alike. We have had a good response from readers who enjoy the “readability” of The Meander ChroniclE, as well as the layout and general aesthetic appeal of the newspaper. with regular columnists writing on topics such as career trends, legal matters, health, trout fishing, the Arts and more, there is always something interesting for our readers, beside the local news and happenings, making the Chronicle a truly “Country Community newspaper”. A SATISFIED READER REPORTS BACK...

“...Today, for the first time, I received a copy of your Meander Chronicle in my post-box (Clarendon, Pmb.). Thank you for that! My daughter lives in Howick, and I enjoy reading the Chronicle whenever I can get my hands on it up there, but they seldom remember to keep it for me.This is an excellent paper, many local people from here often go to the Midlands, for an 'outing' or an event, and knowing who is selling what, and where, will encourage them to support businesses in that area. It will also inform them of events which they may otherwise not know about, and will now attend....”
